With 30 years in health care, community service, and practical experience as husband, father and grandfather, he is fully equipped to support your health needs.

Steve has a B.A. in Biology from Westmont College, a B.S. in Nursing from CSU, Sacramento and an M.B.A. from CSU, Sacramento. He earned the Certified Orthopedic Nursing Certification and has also been certified in Outdoor Emergency Care. Steve received massage training at Chico Therapy Wellness Center and has specialization training in Pre- and Perinatal Massage Therapy from Body Therapy Associates. He is one of a select few Certified and Licensed Therapists in the Sacramento Valley for pregnancy and perinatal massage therapy. His orthopedic, trauma, outdoor emergency care and massage training make him perfect for sports massage.

His experiences with inpatient and outpatient services enable him to integrate various massage therapy modalities with consideration of medical conditions, injuries and emotional challenges. He utilizes a balanced approach by addressing the body, mind and spirit. Steve is convinced that all aspects of your health and life influence your wellness and motivation, with education promoting healthy change with respect to massage.

Steve has contributed time and resources through community organizations as well as international charities. He learned Spanish as an adult to enhance his ability to organize and lead medical teams to rural areas of Latin America and Southeast Asia. Steve is active in his church locally and internationally. He contributes his pregnancy massage skills to local organizations that support needy pregnant moms.

Steve and his wife Susan have been married for over 3 decades and have five children, have raised foster children and have ten grandchildren.

He finds no greater joy than helping others.
